Happy Birthday, iPod

On this day 6 years ago, the iPod was born.  Unlike most of us, it’s become smaller as it’s aged.  I only own a rarely-used iPod shuffle, which I received free in some sort of online promotion, but I know many other people who just swear by their iPods and who carry them everywhere.  I do covet a video iPod, and am sure I would have received one a couple of years ago, if only I hadn’t stopped believing in Santa (thus being removed from the “nice” list).  I’ve read that the next generation of iPods will actually be a bit larger than the current “nano” types, which will be a welcome relief to people with large fingers.
